SGFI District Level Wrestling Competition organized at C. A. Patel School, Motafofalia

On 20 August 2025, the boys and girls of Manav Kendra Gyan Mandir School participated in the SGFI District Level Wrestling Competition organized at C. A. Patel School, Motafofalia. The event witnessed the participation of many schools across the district, and our students gave an excellent performance with remarkable results. In total, 15 students secured the first position, 4 students the second position, and 1 student the third position.

In the Under-14 Boys category, Manan Gohil secured the 1st position in 44 kg, Jayveer Bambal secured the 1st position in 48 kg, Fezal Diwan secured the 2nd position in 35 kg, and Jay M. Patel secured the 2nd position in 41 kg. In the Under-14 Girls category, Kavya Patel (30 kg), Jiya Bhatt (36 kg), Yatika Rajpurohit (46 kg), Princy Dixit (50 kg), Vaishnavi Desai (54 kg), and Mira Patel (62 kg) all secured the 1st position, while Ruhi Patel (33 kg) and Samaira Mahor (46 kg) achieved the 2nd position, and Parthavi Patel (30 kg) secured the 3rd position.

In the Under-17 Boys category, Hitarth Parikh secured the 1st position in 55 kg, Aaditya Yadav secured the 1st position in 80 kg, and Jay S. Patel secured the 1st position in 92 kg. In the Under-17 Girls category, Aarushi Patel (43 kg), Rahi Patel (46 kg), Darpali Patel (49 kg), and Yagni Bharwad (57 kg) each secured the 1st position.

A total of 15 students from the school have been selected to represent at the State Level Wrestling Competition. This outstanding achievement has been possible under the expert guidance of their coach, Mr. Jitu Yadav, whose training and support have greatly contributed to their success. The school is proud of the students’ performance and wishes them the very best for the upcoming state-level championship.
