Poetry is a painting of emotions and understandings in a peculiar canvas

A vibrant and creative I/C English Poem Recitation Competition was held in MKGM on 30/08/2025 for students of classes Nursery to 6. The competition aimed to nurture public speaking skills, boost confidence, and foster a love for English poetry.

The event began with the youngest participants from the Nursery and Kindergarten classes. Their recitations were filled with adorable gestures and innocent expressions, winning the hearts of everyone present. Their simple yet charming performances set a delightful tone for the day.

The students from Classes 1 & 2 demonstrated a good grasp of rhythm and expression.

The final category, Classes 3 to 6, displayed a higher level of complexity and sophistication. These participants showed a deeper understanding of their poems' themes, using subtle voice modulations and confident stage presence to deliver powerful performances.
