On 21st and 22nd August 2025, the boys and girls of Manav Kendra Gyan Mandir School participated in the SGFI District Level Chess Competition held at Blue Moon School, Karjan.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from various schools across the district, creating a competitive and motivating atmosphere for the young chess players.

In the girls’ category, our students delivered an excellent performance. In the Under-17 category, Siddhi Shah secured the 3rd position. In the Under-19 category, Bansari Patel achieved the 1st position and Pari Upadhyay secured the 2nd position, showcasing remarkable skill and determination.

In the boys’ category, our students also displayed commendable talent. In the Under-14 category, Avirajsinh Chauhan secured the 3rd position with his steady focus and strategic play, while Hiyaan Patel achieved the 5th position with his determination and consistent efforts.
