Jagannath Rath Yatra
On 16th July 2026, Manav Kendra Gyan Mandir School celebrated Jagannath Rath Yatra on the school assembly ground with great devotion and enthusiasm. A beautifully decorated large chariot carrying the idols of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra was the highlight of the celebration.

On 16th July 2026, Manav Kendra Gyan Mandir School celebrated Jagannath Rath Yatra on the school assembly ground with great devotion and enthusiasm. A beautifully decorated large chariot carrying the idols of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra was the highlight of the celebration. The students welcomed the deities with a grand procession, dancing joyfully along the way, while the teachers also participated by pulling the chariot, making the occasion spiritually uplifting.
The morning assembly commenced with a prayer, followed by a shloka, a thought, a story, and a poem presented by students. Along with these presentations, students also shared informative facts about World Snake Day, creating awareness about the importance of snakes, their role in nature, and the need to protect them.
In his address, the Principal spoke about the significance of celebrating Jagannath Rath Yatra during this auspicious period in the Hindu calendar. He also explained the different types of snakes found in Gujarat, the precautions to be taken in case of a snake bite, and the importance of spreading awareness about snake safety.
The celebration concluded on a devotional note with the distribution of prasad to all the students and teachers. Photographs of different classes were taken, leaving everyone with a sense of joy, unity, and blessings.
