An Orange Colour Day was celebrated in MKGM on 19/11/2025 for the Kindergarten students. It was a vibrant, engaging, and educational event designed to introduce and reinforce the concept of the orange colour in a fun and interactive way. These themed days significantly aid young children in developing cognitive skills through colour sorting and classification.

Classrooms were decorated with orange balloons, streamers, and charts featuring orange objects like fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Teachers displayed and discussed numerous real-life orange objects, such as oranges, carrots, pumpkins, marigolds, and orange toys. This helped children to create a cognitive link between the visual cue of the colour and its associated words.

Students brought an orange-coloured item from home and spoke a few lines about it. This activity helped to enhance their oratory skills and confidence.

Thus, the Orange Colour Day celebration successfully provided a stimulating and enjoyable learning experience, reinforcing key concepts while encouraging enthusiasm, vigor, and zest among the young learners.
