A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart forever

On 5th September 2025, Teachers’ Day was celebrated with grandeur and devotion at Manav Kendra Gyan Mandir School. The celebration commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the CEO Sir, beloved Ekta Mam, and the Principal Sir, followed by the garlanding of the portraits of Maa Saraswati and Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Soon after, the symbolic bursting of balloons filled the atmosphere with joy and energy, setting the tone for the day.

The program began with a warm welcome to the esteemed guests, followed by an eloquent speech delivered by Head Boy, Ajay Rathva. A grand felicitation ceremony was then held, where all staff members were honored for their dedication and invaluable contribution. This was further enriched by inspiring addresses from Deepak Sir and Annapurna Mam. The Principal, in his address, expressed gratitude towards all students, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff for their constant support and motivated the students to aim high, embrace discipline, and uphold the values of knowledge and service. The formal proceedings concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and the National Anthem.

After the program, students enthusiastically played the role of teachers for a day. They conducted classes, maintained discipline, and guided their juniors, giving them an opportunity to understand the responsibilities, patience, and dedication that teaching demands. This role reversal was not only a gesture of gratitude but also an exercise to make students experience the challenges and joy of teaching, thereby developing respect for their mentors.

Following this activity, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch together. The celebrations then continued with exciting games. In Tug of War, separate male and female teams competed with full enthusiasm, while in Chakravyuh, Rock Paper Scissors, and the Water Brigade, all staff members played in mixed teams, making the contests entertaining and unifying. The winners were awarded trophies, celebrating their spirited participation.

The day concluded with a warm and memorable dinner served by the students to their teachers, creating a touching moment of respect, gratitude, and togetherness. The entire celebration beautifully reflected the timeless bond between teachers and students.
