80th Independence Day Celebration at MKGM School

The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great patriotic spirit at Manav Kendra Gyan Mandir School on 15th August 2026. The celebration commenced with the flag-hoisting ceremony at the main assembly ground, followed by the National Anthem. The students then witnessed an instrumental patriotic song performed by the school band.

Thereafter, the students and teachers assembled at the Badminton Hall, where the programme began with Vande Mataram, sung collectively by all the students and teachers, followed by a prayer. A student presented a thought for the day, followed by a speech highlighting the significance of Independence Day. Two students presented separate patriotic poems, adding to the patriotic spirit of the occasion. The cultural segment continued with an energetic group patriotic dance performed by the students.
The sports achievements of the students were then announced, recognising their dedication and accomplishments in various competitions. Manoj Gogoi Sir, Coordinator, addressed the gathering on the occasion of Independence Day and inspired the students to value the freedom of the nation, fulfil their responsibilities, and contribute towards building a stronger India.
The programme concluded on a patriotic and inspiring note. At the end of the programme, sweets were distributed among all the staff members and students to mark the joyous occasion.
