On 15th April 2025, students of class eight from Manav Kendra Gyan Mandir School, Kandari, visited nearby farms and croplands as part of their Science learning. The visit was guided by their Science teacher, Mr. Deepak Kumar, with valuable support and encouragement from Principal Mahendrasinh Vihol Sir.
During the visit, students observed various agricultural practices such as ploughing, sowing, methods of irrigation, and the use of manure and fertilizers. They also learned about weed control and saw the use of weedicide two-four-D. The students were excited to witness the harvesting process and different storage methods for crops. They were especially amazed to see modern tools and technology used for large-scale crop production. The visit also included exposure to animal husbandry practices, helping students understand how it supports income in the agricultural sector. The entire experience was closely connected to their Science chapter Crop Production and Management, making the learning both practical and meaningful.
