Festivals foster the spirit of social cohesion and fraternity among students. They inform, educate, bring children together, break the monotony of routine and give them a chance to synergize their body, mind and spirit.
Ganesh Chaturthi marks the birth anniversary of Lord Ganesha, whose brilliance is equal to billions of suns in intensity, who removes all obstacles from our daily life. We respectfully pay our humble obeisance to Him with revered sincerity.
The students of MKGM celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great joy and splendor, as Ganesha is the most loved & adorable God of little ones. The festivities began with a unique and delightful procession, where a student from Class One, dressed as Lord Ganesha, was carried to the hall in a palquin by students dancing and playing the dhol.
The assembly commenced with an aarti of Ganesha, followed by a rendition of shlokas and an informative speech by a student, highlighting the significance of the day.
A captivating play was enacted by the students, depicting the mythological story of how Ganesha got an elephant head and why he is worshipped first amongst the Gods.
The audience was then treated to a beautiful dance performance by the students, showcasing their talent and energy.
Principal Sir delivered a thought-provoking speech on the importance of the day, emphasizing the values and teachings of Lord Ganesha.
The celebration concluded with a sense of joy, devotion, and spiritual fervor, leaving a lasting impression on the students, teachers, and staff.The event was a testament to the school's commitment to preserving and promoting India's rich cultural heritage and traditions.
